The Rosé Palette features warm and inviting colours in Thistle, Blush, Clay and Chili from the Overton Collection by Warwick Fabrics.

• Thistle: A soft, dusky mauve that adds understated elegance and sophistication.
• Blush: A muted rosy pink, radiating warmth and subtle romantic charm to any room.
• Clay: A warm, earthy terracotta, perfect for a grounded and natural aesthetic.
• Chili: A deep, spicy tone that brings a touch of rustic richness to your space.

The fabric in this collection is a classic, yarn-dyed plain weave made from 100% recycled olefin. It offers a faux linen look with a gently washed appearance. This versatile material blends effortlessly with various styles, adding a raw linen aesthetic to relaxed and inviting spaces.

This lampshade is suitable for table and floor lamp bases and ceiling pendant light fittings.

Lampshade Fitting:

• B22 & E14: Each lampshade includes a reducer/adaptor ring, making it compatible with E14 and B22 (28mm) fittings, commonly used in Australia and New Zealand.
• E27 & E26: Without the adaptor ring, the internal diameter is 40mm, fitting standard E27 and E26 lamp holders, widely used in Europe, the UK, the US, and Canada.

About Drum Lampshades

A drum-shaped lampshade features a classic cylindrical design, typically wider in diameter than it is tall. With its shallow height and balanced proportions, it offers a sleek, modern profile that complements a variety of lamp bases and styles. This shape also provides even light distribution, making it a popular choice for both functional and decorative lighting.

How to Choose the Right Size

Choosing the right lampshade size is a personal decision - there are no strict rules! It's all about finding what feels right for your space.

Here are a few helpful guidelines to ensure a well-proportioned look for your drum lampshade:

Table Lamps:

• The lampshade’s diameter should be approximately double the width of the lamp base. For example: A lamp base that is 15cm wide and 45cm tall would pair well with a shade 30cm in diameter.
• Alternatively, match the lampshade diameter to the height of the lamp base. For instance, a 35cm-tall base works well with a shade of the same diameter.
  • Small table lamps: Shades with a 20-30cm diameter.
  • Larger table lamps: Shades with a 35-40cm diameter.
• Important: The shade should also be no wider than the table it sits on, ensuring a balanced and visually pleasing look.
• The drum shade’s height should be around ⅓, ½, or ⅔ the height of the lamp base, depending on your preference and the style you’re aiming for.

Floor Lamps:

• Taller floor lamps look best with larger shades. A shade with a 35-50cm diameter is ideal for achieving balance without overpowering the lamp.
• A good rule of thumb: Keep the shade about 1/5 of the lamp’s height.
• Important: Consider the space where the floor lamp will be placed. Ensure the shade’s width complements the room without overcrowding the area.

Pendant Lights:

• Consider the room size and ceiling height.
• Smaller spaces: Shades with a 30-35cm diameter work well.
• Larger rooms: Shades with a 40-50cm diameter.
• Ensure the pendant is hung at a height that allows light to spread evenly and comfortably.
